What does everybody use as their duck's pools

I'll start it out and say mine use a couple kiddie pools, because I have 13 ducks and 3 geese. I wish I had a pond somewhere near my house.

that is also what I have - I have two larger and one smaller and then a couple of bigger bowls. That way there is plenty of water for all ages and sizes. The older bigger ones tend to hog the bigger pools. So there are smaller options for those lower on the pecking order or smaller/younger in size to make it easier to get in or out. I checked on these 8' diameter livestock water "pools" at the local feed store but they are $350 and more and I just can't afford that. But if you have the money, that would be a nice artificial pond for them. They have drains in the bottom so that you can empty and clean them

All kiddy pools here(and the odd swim in the horses trough

) while the appeal of a pond is somewhat there, i also enjoy knowing the water is clean and safe.. no snapper lurking in that water!

Plus you get some control over where the ducks are, your real ponds? not so much. unless you purposely go out to dig one yourself.

Yes, those are impressive they range into the 500+$ here though lol

I use the bigger kid pools. With 4 ducks a kiddie pool was fine for me but when I placed an order for 15 more I decided I needed to upgrade a bit so I bought one of them kid pools with the sea creatures on the sides. It fits all of them in it at the same time so I've accomplished what I wanted too. Only downside is its a pain to clean so I'm installing a drain like system in the pool so it will be easier. The pool only cost like $18 so it was cheaper than getting a few kiddie pools.

I didn't like the kiddie pool look in my back yard. So we built a landscape timber pond that is about 1000 gallons. Has a drain so we can drain and clean it a few times a year

Yes, I believe I have seen that before, a lovely set-up, I'm rural though so mine don't need to be pretty just function able lol mind you I am considering a more pond like pool for my pair of calls since they will be housed close to my home and enjoy driving more than the Scovies do, their more quicky bathers.

Fortunately for our ducks we have a large natural pond but when it freezes over will be back to a large tub.
