What does everybody use as their duck's pools

mine have a kiddie pool the largest one i could find at the time - one w a slide haha and yes they use the slide . but i have 3 - 9 week old pekins females and i just dont think its big enough..... they love to dive and its a freakin splash zone anywhere within 10 ft around it when they are in it because of their antics. maybe i should get 2? they are like 7 lbs each already and they wonlt get in by themselves.... ive tried teaching them and built them a ramp w logs and tried a step stool - NOPE they are lil divas. they look at the pool and bump it and Quack Honk at me till i put them in . then to get out . ive tried to put a stool in there but NO! they sometimes just flop out or they will step up in the slide part and Quack at me till i come get them... i totally

We don't have one YET, but my dad has plans for an awesome pond in the run. I'm too bleh-feeling to explain it right now, but I'll explain it better once I feel better. :)

We use lots of different "watering holes" depending on where we are.
We use a kiddie pool at home, their normal swimming area.
My three mallards have outgrown it though.
They use a board that I painted to get in and a brick step to get out.
When we move in a month we'll get them a larger pool.

When we go to my boyfriend's mom's house, she has this pool for them.
It took them a very long time to like it, even though it is much larger than their pool.
I think the color pink threw them off...

When we go to the beach, the ocean is their pool.
They only wade in the low tide, looking for sand crabs.

We also use a large plant saucer for a wading pool.
Jake likes to take her stuffed drake and take him swimming.

There's also a little creek that we go play in.
That's the wild mallard hangout spot.

Lastly, when we visit my parents, the ducks enjoy thier turtle pond. It's pretty neat because
he doesn't have to clean it. Something called auqaponics. I'm not too familiar with the concept yet.

Oh you take your ducks to public places? How do yoy make sure others' dogs don't harrass them? I would LOVE to take Pyrrhos to the pond. Idk if I could trust the others though.

I'm fortunate enough to live on a private lake so after the ducks are fully feathered that's where they live..befor ethat..when they're babies they have a small pen with a small kiddie pool

I'm very cautious and keep an eye out always for dogs and stray kids. If I see one, leashed or not (kids too) I scoop up my ducks, and hold them til the dogs pass. We've yet to have a problem. Most dogs are just curious, and their owners are usually respectful and leave us be.

When the ducklngs are wee, they all start out in an old cat box..., I clean the litter out first!
As they mature we set up a small paddle pool, ours were donations from the local recreation centre.
We have a hockey pond..., when the ice mels it becomes a haven for frogs, mosquitoes, and ducks that are old enough to be free-ranging during the day.

The hardest part is locking them up for the night when they do not want to leave the pond.

You have given your ducks the most amazing life!
You take them on holiday with you and for excursions??
That is fantastic. It sounds like fun.
