What does everyone think about feeding chickens boiled eggs from the flock?

Because I only have so much room in my freezer and no one wanted to buy them.
Of course, thats recently changed because now, with the prices and scarcity in some stores, my eggs are now in demand.
Funny how it went to, " your too expensive," to "can I get six doz this week? "
The travel restrictions mean my normal outlets for eggs (family) have also been closed.
Eggs at the grocery store are still readily available at normal prices but there are quantity restrictions.
I gave a friend 4 dozen last wknd and told him when they need more tell me. I still have 5 dozen in the fridge.

Ive never frozen eggs. Don't they crack? We usually just store ours on the countertop for a few weeks then refrigerate a for a few more. The oldest ones are then pickled.

You open them and scramble, then freeze in portioned containers.
Some folks use ice cube trays to freeze, then store the cubes in plastic bags.
Some folks add some salt or sugar, can't remember the details.
They are fine for recipes, and scrambled eggs of course, texture is a bit different.

Put the yolks in an ice tray, freeze, then bag up in a food sealer. If they are too big, separate the whites.

Thanks for the explanation. I think I'll pass.

I feed scrambled eggs to poorly chickens or sometimes for a bit of a protein boost, for example if they are moulting. Occasionally I drop one when collecting them and then the hens have an awesome time clearing up!
