What Does everyone think about Silkies?

I had silkies years back .
they are great. love them ,
1 silkie was determined to sit on eggs through out the year .Great because I had fancy peasants eggs

I never thought to much of silkies until I saw Alan Stanfords. My mother got some of his. She also got a beautiful silkie rooster from a wonderful breeder in Indiana. Now, I love looking at a beautiful silkie. My son has two now and we are going to be adding more this year.

Here is my sister's silkie rooster. She showed him at the county fair and done awesome with him.

I love my silkies! Even the roo's..LOL The chicks are adorable how could you not love those fluffy butts! I love how they love to hatch eggs and take care of babies! I hope soon to have showgirls in my flock!!!

I still have not decided. I go to a ranch that has three roosters......they always come after me. Do not care for those.

I had two roosters and a little hen but just got rid of one of the roosters. The remaining rooster really seems ticked his buddy is gone and this morning he was being down right mean. He was chasing the hen and then he was kind of being dominating toward me. Not sure i like this whole rooster thing.
