What Does everyone think about Silkies?

I know what you mean about nasty roo's my gray roo was a pain in the butt. I hand raised him and was handled alot. As he got older he got mean not sure why. I put up with alot with him till breaking point when I rehomed him. I just couldnt take the spurring anymore but I have more sweet roos then I have met mean roo's so my outlook is not bad on roo's. My white silkie roo is a cuddler he is my big baby boy!! Now my Black rooster is also a pain but not from being mean he gives the real meaning to being CHICKEN...LOL

They make great feather dusters.

Dogs enjoy a fluffy toy.

Silkie roos are cranky little things with a Napoleon Syndrome.

Silkies serve no purpose. They aren't a real chicken.

And yes, they do taste great. I'll spare you all the pictures.

No Silkies for me. I want chickens that look like chickens, I want lots of big eggs, and I want any extra roos to have some meat on them. I want some to hatch and raise chicks, but there are broodies out there besides Silkies.

I don't get Silkies. Remind me of "purse dogs." Ugh.

I've avoided direct contact in case they're related to Basilisks.
I've heard they're evil so I've put up protective charms around my property.

I agree with everyone they are not for everyone thats why I started Feather Leg Farms. We have severel other types of feather legged and not feather legged chickens.

We do not have any silkies yet but we are planning on it soon if we can find someone in our area that sells them.

I make them free range with everyone else. Because that is just too silly for words and fun to watch.

lol I hate little dogs, but I think silkies are cute. I think the only chickens I don't like are naked necks.​

i cant decide their cool to look at and all and they can be pretty but i start talking to ppl and they are like o they are very fragile well i cant have fragile and i just dont like the showgirls i made a deal with my mom over a year ago no muscovys and no naked neck chickens!!!!
