We don;t let ours free range because of predators - quite a few of them, but today when my beloved went out to feed them and change their water, the hose was frozen (HELLO, we are in CA!!!) so while his back was turned, our BO took the chance and escaped. She was so freaked out by being on the other side of the fence she just say their frozen with her eyes bugging out. No problem catching her.
