A couple of my laying hens' poo is runnier than usual and is sticking to their backside, does that mean they are ill? Otherwise they seem healthy and are eating and drinking fine. ?? Am I worried over nothing or is there something I should do?

Runny poo could be the result of stress or of a digestive tract imbalance. Try giving them a little yogurt. The fact that they are eating and drinking and seem in good health is a good sign!

Welcome to BYC. Poo that sticks to the vent area means diarrhea, and frequency, color, and the overall condition of the chicken makes a difference. What color is it? Is the chicken huddling, not eating, or does it have ruffled feathers on the back of the neck?
