When the red dots go away does that mean the rooster is sick/unhealthy or lost it's fertility?

No I don't think so and I even though about mentioning that I THINK it can vary..

I'm not an expert, just trying like heck to learn and share all I can. So always fell free to get a second opinion or even a third. And if you see some concern, post it... always good folk here willing to try and help.

Severe signs of sick or unhealthy would be wings drooping, hanging back from flock, acting tired and not eating type stuff.

Those red dots are just blood flow, I think.

This, the roo here just got snatched up and checked because I thought he was bleeding. He wasn't, it was just those spring fever dots.
