What does Tibetan x Jumbo Brown give you?

We have kept jumbo coturnix quail mostly for eggs and we usually cull all males we hatch for meat. This year, we ended up with a random Tibetan hatched out of some eggs we purchased that were supposed to all be jumbo browns. Since we couldn’t initially tell he was a male, he didn’t get culled. In fact, we thought for the longest time he was a female because he took forever to finally crow. Anyway, he’s sweet and docile, so he got to stay. Now we’ve decided to hatch some of our own eggs since they will be fertile by him. I’m just curious what you get when you cross a Tibetan with a Jumbo Brown? I’ve only ever had the jumbo browns to this point, so I’m not up to speed on different colors/genetics.

Can't say for sure but I think this is the results of that mix

Hey, thanks! After briefly looking at color types online, I wondered if that would be it. I appreciate the response.

Yeah, I checked again, and Tibetan is 2 copies of the Extended Brown gene, Rosetta is 1, Pharaoh/wild is 0. So Pharaoh x Tibetan should produce 100% rosetta, unless the Pharaohs are carrying any other recessive genes. Which, based on the fact that you got the one Tibetan from this hatch, I would say isn't unlikely. It will be a fun experiment for sure to see what you get! Genetics can be weird.
