What does your coop/run look like?

If I have not told you before...Thanks for all the help. You guys have been so helpful. We will begin building so soon. I will post pics of us building it, and the finished product. I am so Happy!!!!!

So... we started building!!!!! We still have to put the welded wire on, roof on, attach coop, and put some chicken wire around perimeter of the run. I will post pics just can't at the moment.

BTW forgot to ask...does all this sound safe and/or secure? I hope so, but if not let me know cuz I want my ducks to be safe.

Not sure about the chicken wire as it probably depends on how you are using it. Is it going to be an apron to deter diggers? Probably won't hold up long term.

The chicken wire is going around the outside of the run. It will be laid on the ground so predators will not dig under the run. Sorry I did not explain it better.

It might not hold up. But, I have no clue as an apron. Chicken wire is meant to kerp chickens out of places (gardens, landscape, etc).

I might try something different then. Do you have any suggestions. Will it work better if it is IN the ground rather then laid ON the ground. Also my friends coop for her ducks has some chicken wire on it. She has had not problems. Will it still work?

It is up to you. Do a search here on byc regarding chicken wire. I haven't used it.
@aart is pretty knowledgeable, but I don't think frequents the duck forum much. ;)
