Way back when we had our first computer in the house, i rember it was windows XP. I was researching chickens and chicken stuff and joined my first website i chose to use our family ages at the time and this is still my username for this website and a few others.
My DH was 50, myself 45, and my daughter was 1
Oh, interesting! How old is your daughter now? I thought I was getting up in years when I finally had my daughter at 40 years old... she's 7 now. (I think older parents are the best, though the kids might not think so!) :lau

We've had so much fun with our chickens since we first got them in spring 2016, that I wanted my username to also be fun.

When my daughter was much smaller, we watched A LOT of Sesame Street, and Super Grover 2.0. was our favorite character (mine and my husband's -not the child's).
And our favorite skit was when a chicken was trying to get over the Great Wall of China but couldn't. Then Grover couldn't understand why it just couldn't fly over because she had those "FLAPPY FLAPPERS!" :lau:gigI don't know why we thought it was so hysterical but to this day it's our standard phrase for describing anything that moves or "flaps".
Only I "adjusted" the phrase to include "Feathers" in my username because Flappers reminded me of those crazy dancing girls from the 1920s.
