As a multiple husky pack mom, I can't imagine wanting any other breed aside from German Shepards which are also awesome. But what breeds I don't like is basically anything smaller than a football, anything yippy or snappy.
 
I want to know where all the good Great Danes have gone? It seems that the only breeding goal for their 'breed standard' is color. And now, we have merle, mantle, fawnequin, and harlequin fearful, aggressive large dogs. Where did the gentle giants of yesteryear go?

Depends on the CC. I've seen some pretty ones that look like little Chinese unicorns - qilin. The ones with an underbite and about six strands of hair. Yep. I agree with you.

Agreed, back yard breeder ones are not nearly as beautiful as the properly bred ones you can find at shows
