Yes he is a pit bull, he came with the house we bought in October. He will kill a chicken, and have fun doing it, but for some reason loves and protects the geese. I saw him leap in the air to attack a hawk that was diving for a gosling, I was sitting there and didn't see it coming, but he was on guard.
