What duck is this?

I bought "Muscovy" duck eggs and only two hatched out (at about 28 days!), I know, Muscovys take around 34 days, but anyway this one duck looks like most any other black and yellow duckling except it is an extremely fast grower and has pure black about half way down on each leg and then there are some black splotches on its feet too. I haven't a picture, but any ideas? The black is half way down each leg and very very black like a high gloss black.

Muscovy babies initially may look alot like the mallard breeds. Hard to impossible to tell without photo's. Have you looked online at Muscovy duckling pictures? You are probably correct that they aren't Muscovies, but beyond that, I don't know.
