I actually googled something to the effect of dog crate brooders. I think

It was in the spring of 2017 and I can't remember what I googled at this point. Probably something about caring for new chicks. But pretty much every Google search brings me back to BYC in the first dozen search listings.

I think it was something about normal poops and such. Being a new momma to chickens I wanted to make sure everything was normal and it was I have so much to learn and am so in love with my babies already! I want to spend all of my time watching them grow each day

I get pointed to BYC so often by Google that I just filter Google to only show me results from BYC. It is a "hack" for many websites that have a.....lets say....less than great internal search functionality.

I liked AltaVista.

MetaCrawler, and then I think the related version where there was a scrolling list of other people's searches was MetaSpy? Then there was one (or maybe a filter) on the MetaSpy one where you got to see all the "after dark" type searches people were doing.

I actually don't remember the first thing I googled to get here. The most recent was "baby chickens making cricket sound"

I think the first time I found BYC was when I googled 'how to get rid of bird mites on hen and chicks'. If so that was 3 years ago. What I searched when I finally joined was 'mink sighting near chicken coop' two years ago.
