What feather type is this? Not quite frizzle? not quite smooth?

I have a lot of Cochin Bantams that I knew had the possibility of being smooth or frizzled. I can definitely tell who is frizzle and who is smooth, but there are a couple in the mix that I thought were frizzle but now I'm not so sure. Does anyone know if these are actually frizzle or smooth or something else? I'm referring to the two blue chicks in the photos with almost silkied looking feathers

They were breed Cochin to Cochin?

I guess what I'm wondering is if that feather type can come from a smooth to smooth Cochin or a smooth to frizzle Cochin? Does that mean that they are not full Cochin?

I don't think that is possible with these chicks she didn't have a frizzled rooster. The rooster was a black mottled smooth feathered Cochin

Sounds correct, also I think it would be more obvious rather than less.

Maybe it's just wiley juvenile plumage.. at a funky stage.

But I did think frizzle to frizzle was called "frazzle" is that wrong or are those words interchangeable? Frazzle/sizzle?
