What flooring/bedding to use for outdoor covered run?

Just like @Hoytman will have they have access to a covered run ......10x10.

And 8x8=64 which is 4 sq feet per bird for 16 birds. I realize the bigger is better concept exists , but this is to be a temporary set up ......

That is correct. My permanent coop will likely be 8'x12', 8'x16', or 12'x16' to account for chicken math later.
