What gender are my barred rock

Ok so I’m new to the barred rock breed and am questioning what gender I got. I was told two females but they are vastly different. One is three weeks and one is two weeks. The younger one has a noticeable spot in her head however has smaller legs. The bigger one no spot but seems pretty big to me. Any help would be appreciated.
First two pictures are of the older one. Last two the younger one. Thanks.

The one with the spot on it's head looks to be a cockerel. The other a pullet.

I can't tell from the pictures, but my barred rocks.. the males were lighter in color with larger leg. females were darker in color.

Are the spots on the head indicating roo? That’s what I read but then someone said it wasn’t true.

It is true barred rock will be lighter is it is roo and it seems you have one
