What gender are these 3 month old silkie chicks?

One of them has a bigger comb than the other. The other one doesn’t really have a comb at all. They both don’t really have any wattles yet.

Im not for sure but I have a feeling you might have a pair. Silkies are just really hard to tell, sometimes you have to wait for an egg or a crow

I am inclined to think you may have a pair, but I am by no means certain. You may not see wattles as the bearded gene inhibits their growth. I think you will need to wait this out a bit longer. You should know in another month or so. That is normally when streamers start to grow from the crest of male silkies.

A pair. The male will develope streamers on crest, and in general have a more swept back crest than the "poof" of the pullet.
