ISA browns and other red sex links are a cross between a red or gold colored male and a silver gened female. The female offspring are gold with varying degrees of white on the neck and tail. Males look like this:
The point of crossing the two colors is so that the offspring are 100% sexable by color as day old chicks.
However if you breed two ISA browns together the offspring are not sexable by color. Simba49450 perhaps that's what you have. (To satisfy your curiousity yes I do have sex link chickens.)
