What gender is this EE?

thanks everyone! I hope you are all wrong though... haha
This will be the 5th time i have gotten a wrongly sexed chick from my feed store.. and they say they dont move them from cage to cage! Oh well i guess.. i sure do think he is pretty but i just dont have the roomfor another rooster unless i get rid of some of my most favorite breeds of roosters

So looks like he has gotta go if he starts mating!
Ha i have only gotten 2 out of 5 EE chicks sexed right.. and the other 2 where some sort of production reds.. Once again oh well though.
Thanks everyone again!

He's beautiful! Sorry he's a boy! It sounds to me like you should either ask the feed store for boys (and get girls, haha) or maybe find a new feed store.

It's just a general rule for duckwing, birchen, and wheaten coloring - Males can and should have coloration (silver, gold, or red) on the hackles, saddle, and shoulders while females simply don't. (well, birchen females have it on the neck, but only the neck. . .) This Easter Egger, like most, is duckwing based. Duckwing females can have red or gold coloration on the chest, and sometimes it spreads out to the rest of the body, but it cannot pop up in the neck like this cockerel is showing. (also, those gold feathers are hackles. A rooster trait.) It's just how duckwing patterning works.

Thank you! I am fascinated by the coloring, and want to learn more. I appreciate your taking the time.
