I’ve been looking forward to posting this, and trying so hard to be patient! Hoping I’m not too early! I’ve been practicing each day reading these threads and guessing along to try to learn.

My ladies (fingers crossed) are all between 7-8 weeks. Please help me to confirm what gender! Thank you!

Bonnie, my barred rock & total boss bitch. I really think she is a pullet, I am most confident about her!

Stella, my buff Orpington and cuddly chicken. I also think she is a pullet, although she has some big legs!

Annette, my mottled houdan and punk rock princess. I legit don’t have the slightest idea on what gender she is. I would guess pullet based on the feathers but I know nothing!

Rosie, my light Brahma and most chill, best percher. No clue on her! Sounds like they mature slower so we might not know yet.

And finally, Ginny my Rhode Island Red (or, labeled as such). The one that I’m suspicious that might be a cockerel. She just seems different than the rest, but comb and waddle are still so small. But the feathers seem much pointier. But again, I am new to chickens and do not know much.

I think they could all be pullets. I'm not too good with anything other than single combs but I think the Brahma could be a pullet

All of them are pullets! Well I’m not sure about the fluffy one, I can’t see it’s comb so it’s hard to tell but the other ones are pullets! Congrats looks like you’ll be getting quite a few eggs!

@Rhodebar Lover @Lollychicken @Lou K great news, thank you! How could you tell on the houdan and Brahma? And what makes the Rhode Island Red a pullet, to me her feathers look more pointy?
If it were a cockerel, the comb would be quite red at this point. All pullets from me too! The pointy saddle feathers come in at the tail, and they bend down. Also, they usually come in at 8-12 weeks. They don’t have saddle feathers either…

Well, let me explain myself a bit, they do get saddle feathers as well, but not sharp and pointy like a cockerel

The Brahma has a very small pea comb. It may be best to wait some more on the Houdan but the rounded crest and lack of comb and wattles looks promising :)

Sorry, I meant to say I'm not too sure about the houdan, but I think it would be a pullet because you can't see comb, the combs on all of them would be bigger if they were cockerels though
