what gender would you say?

I got two barred rocks for free... I tried to introduce them to my other two that were born last spring but they pecked their poor feathers out so I had to separate. my younger two are free ranging during the day and staying in the building at night until we can build a coop or re introduce them. i'm wondering if they are female or male. their combs are still yellowish. thanks

3 months sounds about right, and they both look to be females

would you have any recommendations for introducing them to my older two chicks? I really don't want to make another coop and run as my current one would house 4 chickens easily

Can you free range everyone together for a few days? Have them continue to sleep apart, then if everyone is getting along move the littles to the coop at night.

@donrae's suggestion is good. How are you keeping them apart at present?

my little ones are free ranging and are in the building at night... older hens are in the coop and enclosed run
