i think its a girl as the males are just pure black beaks, we will wait and see

How old? Sending by the beak coloring can only be done the first few days. After they are a few days old it can no longer be done that way.

its like 17 hours old and had a pink beak but seems to get darker

As it gets older, the beak will get darker. If the beak was pink with a dark tip then female. If the beak looked like the first picture then male.
