What happened to my pullet’s beak?

Hi all!
My Cochin pullet appeared with this hurt beak when we came back from a trip. What happened? Is there anythIng I can do to help her? She is still eating and drinking to my knowledge, I just want her to be okay.

It looks like she may have damaged her beak possibly by sticking it through chicken wire or other wire fencing. I would look around your coop for clues. She might have broken it some other way. Beak injuries can be painful for a few days. It should grow back in time. Make sure that she is eating, and moistened feed or soft cooked egg would be good to offer.

As eggcessive said, it looks like she damaged her beak from chicken wires. It should grow back, in a few weeks.
