What happened to the eggs?

My chickens started laying on Monday. I had one egg on Monday and two eggs yesterday and NONE today. Could they decide to hide them now? They were laying them in the nesting box.

It could be the shorter days combined with them being new and inexperienced layers. I wouldn't worry too much. They need a while to get things worked out.
