Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures, but there wasn't much to see.
What happened was I performed an eggtopsy on day 14 because four of my eggs had a similar dark circle (like a dark sphere within the egg; Nothing like a blood ring) and showed no signs of blood vessels. I cracked open the eggs, and ended up finding exactly the same thing: It was all yellow, but I could see that it was fertile (there was a white spot). It seemed like the yolk had ruptured, but how could that happen on 4 eggs in the same clutch? And there was a clear spot where the yolk circle would have been on a regular egg. I was wondering if anyone knows what happened and what caused it. There was no shipping or harsh handling of the eggs involved.
Thank you SO much!
