First think I would ask is.... Is He, she, walking?

Yes he is walking. Has never been one to roost like the others. Sits like a hen does a lot. However, I’m just noticing this.

Is that the hip sticking out, or is it some sort of growth? Could the hip be dislocated? Hard to tell from your picture. Can the chicken stand or walk at all? Can you fell bones moving? If you suspect a broken bone, I would sepearte her in a dog crate with food and water, so she doesn’t get hurt or try to jump on a roost. If a vet is possible, I would take her in.

That could be a really good possibility that maybe it’s dislocated. I tried to feel both sides and that one just sticks out funny like that. I don’t know if it been like that or if I’m just now noticing it because of the missing feathers.

probably picking at them because it hurts... did you check him over for punctures.... If something with teeth bit him there could be an infection going. Like others have said... Vet.....

Sprinkle some DE on him/her
