Men are visual. You need to ask then paint a visual picture so he can see it. I used to think he would be offended because I felt it sounded like I was talking down to him, but now I realize that he gets it better when I paint a picture.

I NEVER...repeat...NEVER criticize him for trying his best to please me. One day he could decide not to bother.
