What has been your sexing rate for Ideal Hatchery?

We ordered 3 d'uccles, 2 austropalops, and 12 EE's. All turned out to be girls except for the extra d'uccle roo the sent me.

I've ordered straight run and for meat birds got 50/50 and for silkies, got 3 boys and 5 girls. Doesn't help does it.

I ordered 10 pullets: 4 Blue Andalusians, 2 Buff Orps, 2 sex links, and 2 Australorps. They substituted Easter Eggers for Australorps. No problem, I love them! All 10 are pullets. So sexing was 100% for me.

You don't have to deal with packing peanuts if you don't want to. I specified "No Males for Warmth" in the Comments section of the online order form. I had to pay for insurance, due to the small order size, but it only cost $1.65.

Also, I could have specified, "No Substitutions", if I had been willing to wait until they could send everything exactly the way I ordered it.

We ordered 5 BO pullets and 4 White Jersey Giant pullets.

BO- 100%

WJG- 75% (1 rooster)

It was no big deal for me to get a rooster because mistakes happen.

They did reimburse me for it though, which I didnt expect.

I got 3 rhode island reds and 3 leghorns 7 weeks ago and all appear to be girls. I'm new at this, but I think I'd see signs of the roo by now, wouldn't I?

I had received an accidental straight run from Ideal (I ordered pullets and they messed up). Of that group of 9 I've had 4 roos. They sent me another 9 to make up for the mistake, and of that group they're 100% pullets!

I ordered 10 pullets. They were 100% on those.

I got 10 extra Turken roos for warmth.

I ordered 14 pullets and to the best of my knowledge only one is a roo.
