Anyone care to share their thoughts on Miss Penelope? Tractor supply said she is a she and also a Silver Laced Wyandotte. They also claimed she is the same age as the other chicks... I question at least 2 of these 3 claimsView attachment 3140408

I'd say she is a golden Sebright. Wyandottes should have yellow feet and hers are grey.

She looks like she could be a GLW. My two pullets have feathers that are still maturing into what I expected! Give her time

I think you are right to question those claims

I see gold, so not "silver" anything. I can't tell for sure whether it is laced or a Wyandotte, at least not at this age and from this angle of photo. But those legs look awfully dark for a Wyandotte, so I'm a bit doubtful.

Being much bigger and having a lot more feathers are good signs that chick is older than the others.

I'm not sure on the gender at this time, so there's a chance of them being right on the gender. (With only 2 choices, they do have a much better chance of being right on gender.)

Thank you all for clearing that up for me. I would have been super worried about how small she is compared to the wyandottes and brahmas Here she is a bit bigger now and oh so pretty.
