Hi all,

I’m new but have really enjoyed and benefitted from many posts since we took in our four ducks last month.

My turn to ask a question now: we thought we were getting a female Welsh Harlequin but I’m wondering if she might be something completely different. Or maybe she is a he - time will tell.

Does anyone think she/he looks more like a silver appleyard?

It is a welsh, a appleyard would have a yellow bill and be bigger

She looks just like my Welsh harlequins, all female, but before their blue or bronze wing feathers grew in. All of mine eventually had their bills darken like that and most of their feet darkened, too, though one or two still have more orange feet. Mine are just hatchery grade, not show quality and they are good layers.
