I am trying to identify my hens. I, unfortunately, fell for them at a tractor supply, who I believe erroneously labeled them as Easter eggers. I figured they were wrong and instead decided to try and pick them based on what breeds I had previously raised. I am looking at the reddish-brown ones. They look similar to welsummers to me. I think they lay brown eggs I currently have them in a mixed flock so it is hard to tell. The whiter one is also in almost all of these pictures if someone could take a guess but my main issue are the red girls.

They are Easter eggers, just a different type than most are used to seeing. They’re legbar mix EEs.

It's normal for a welsummer to lay brown eggs. As for the EE hen, it's not a guarantee that one will lay different colored eggs

I have an OE that lays brown. Like EE, there is always a percent that may lay brown or white. Depending on the mix. 😊

So after further research, I have determined they came from one of Hoover's Colored Egg Layer mixes. After studying the available pictures and their egg colors I imagine one is a Prarie Bluebell and the other two are in fact Starlights. This would account for their eggs, which are 1 Cream, 1 Blue, and 1 Green. My best guess is the Prairie Bluebell is the White one and the other two are the Starlights with one having the 5% chance of brown eggs.
