What hurts and why?

I spent the past 2 days hurting everywhere. I battled my delivery vehicle Saturday and thought I won the fight, but it conquered me in the end...

I will add, though, my right forearm which I fractured in an auto accident 7 years ago has been aching quite a bit lately and I've been plagued by headaches as well.

Everything.. I have fibromyalgia and the weather has been VERY COLD today. I have never broken a bone. I have survived breast cancer, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment. Chemotherapy was aggressive and left me with peripheral neuropathy, which may have triggered the fibromyalgia.

I have good days and bad days, today wasn't one of the bad days. But everything still hurts.

Last Friday it was horrible. Migraines, allergies and muscle pain all around.

Feeling pretty good one day and then wham! Like a train hitting a car...PAIN!

Saturday night, knowing there was a piece of board across the pathway, to keep Hammie from going into the hallway. Tripped and fell on my knee, knocked my head against the wall, rib cage on the floor....mega ouch! Still trying to recover from the knee pain and head pain, and the front moving in with rainy weather after yesterday beautiful weather........ugh! I'm sucking on my heating pad on my back and whining....

Heck, it is not fun being old!

In the interest of good time management, we should just list the things that DON"T hurt.

It will save us all that typing.....

Ahaha, took me a minute. Cuz I'm old. Knees and my hip, from weight lifting. Sorry about your thumbs owie, owie, owie.

Yeah, I broke them within a week of each other, on a skiing trip. Still don't know how that works, but supposedly it is the most common skiing injury? Try buttoning up your shirt without using your thumbs! It was hilarious. Putting my gloves on, in the morning, before skiing was the worst. That's actually how I found out about the first one. Wiped out, took off my gloves, cleaned my glasses, put them back on (all easily done without moving your thumb!), then I went to put the right glove back on and my thumb folded over backward.

That'll wake you RIGHT up.

My hips, shoulders, wrists, elbows, ankles. I didn't do a thing to earn it either. I was born with Hypermobile Joint Disorder coupled with Ehlers Danlos. Basically, I have chronic dislocations and joint pain, which increases during colder weather. Unfortunately there is no treatment and no cure. Just pain management and muscle toning. Oh yea, and I'm only 20. *facedesk*

My mother is a breast and thyroid cancer survivor. Her chemotherapy almost killed her (doc was giving her 10x the amount per dose she was supposed to get

) And the result for her was fibromyalgia as well. One of the things she found helpful was a Tens Unit. Maybe you could give it a shot if you haven't already?
