What I found in the Henhouse today: The Enormous Egg

I got a big egg like that once. I never figured out who layed it. There was no blood on it. It was clean as a whistle. All the girls acted the same. I opened it and it was a single yolk

One of our Blue Orpington hens routinely lays an extra large egg, while the other hens lay smaller, large-sized eggs. They've only ever had single yolks in them, though. She's a bit bigger than the other girls, so we figure it's just natural for her to lay larger eggs than the rest. It's kinda cool that we can always tell which egg was laid by her, at least.
