What if a chicken bites you?

The OP said the injury occurred a few weeks ago.
They also said that there was a bit of blood, they didn't state any symptoms or side effects.
My chickens go after freckles. I have freckly legs. The suckers bite me all the time, I just treat the wound and go.
I hope none of them are radioactive, I can't think of any good chicken super powers.

I have been bit so often, it’s not funny. Still here. One of my friends said her ex was bitten by a rooster and suffered a horrible infection that put him in hospital for days. I believe this is either a gross exaggeration, or he had awful hygiene or exposed his wound to something really nasty.

There’s different types of bites the “food?” bite, the defensive bite (I have a rooster that believes the best defense is a good offense, if he wasn’t such a great breeder, he would be stew by now!) and the lovely bite and twist, where they try to tear a chunk of your flesh off. I think the worst is the solid defensive bite. This usually both bruises me and often breaks the skin.

Are there any serious health concerns if a chicken bites you? A couple of weeks ago, one of our friendly hens bit me behind my knee, and there was a bit of blood.
No worries, I used to get pecked, and so has my brother who had cancer when he was young and we was always just fine!
It's getting scratched you'd worried about unless you've had your tetanus shot.

The bite and twist... I know it well. Yeah, I heard a story about someone who wound up in the hospital too but there must have been some other circumstance. Always clean up a wound but for that stuff hopefully the bleeding can also wash out some contaminates.
