What, if anything, have you done to notify your BYC friends in the event of your death?

Whatever one thinks about the idea of Internet friends there isn't much doubt that many people make genuine friendships here on BYC. Some members have been coming here for over a decade and may have got to know many of the regular posters.
I've already seen quite a few disappear and I can't help wondering what became of them and their chickens.
In the real world word gets round through family and friends but on BYC the people one gets to know may live on another continent and your reality friends are unlikely to consider those one has got to know on the internet.

It only applies if you actually made friends on here. And to me that's rare. But when they don't come back I assume they are busy with life, got out of chicken keeping, or dead.

I've given my dd the information needed to find her way to Byc andl Inform anyone if something should happen to me. I, too, have seen many disappear and wonder what become of them, even if we weren't close.

Honestly nothing. People would probably only get alerted if whoever would end up going through my phone finds the site. Or if one of the few with people my email. Sends one and my family saw that.

I have a list of things to be done in the event of my untimely demise. it has instructions on how to access my passwords, what sites to hit, whom to let know, and how to clear my browser history.
