Jap bantam silkie mix????? But she sure doesn't have silkie feathering!!!

YEAH, that's it!!! A frizzle turken....how could I not see it before!!!

They have very soft feathering, almost like a cochin. I'd go take a new pic, but it is pouring down rain. If I get one this week I can edit and put it up.

The bird in the beginning of the thread is very pretty, the elegance reminded me of a dove. I could go with OEGB and silkie for her, don't think frizzle turken works though.

The whole "reminds you of a dove" thing is what makes me think of my Jap Bantam. I have always compared her to a dove. She has such a long and elegant face and stature. Here you can see what I mean...pardon the christmas pic.

What kind of comb does she have? It looks small and flat, but I just want to be sure.Also, how old is she?

From the color, I'm going to say Silkie and Ameraucana mix. Silkie crosses do not always show silkie feathering. Actually, most first generation silkie crosses do have hard feathering.
