This duckling is about 7 weeks old. We are torn about what breed she is. She still has some yellowish baby feathers, but is mostly grown out. Her face feathers are white with brown mottling. Her wing and tail feathers are a light silvery brown color, and she is massive! Her tail is very long, and she has large feet and sharp talons. She has a very tiny red bump above her beak. Her beak and feet are barely colored, almost white, and her eyes are blue. What could she be?

Shes LOVELY!!!
? Muscovy?

Ok re-read the first post, I could be wrong on so many levels but I believe she is a pied muscovy. To my knowledge only pied or white muscovy have blue eyes (but again I must say I have never had Muscovy). She's beautiful regardless of what her color is though😍

It's a muscovy. But, if the tail is super long and the feet and head are thick, then it might be a he. Is it massive compared to other ducklings? Where did you get it?

It is a rescue. Someone dumped it on a lady with chickens assuming she knows what she is doing. She didnt. Not sure if she is a he, but she peeps instead of hissing, which ive heard for muscovys is the easiest way to tell. She/he is massive to me, but Ive only ever raised a tiny runt mallard, and small khaki campbells. So anything is massive lol
