we have a hen thats been laying eggs and all of a sudden today shes been runnin out announcing that she layed an egg, and.....nothing? whats happening? i dont think shes egg bound.

They like to cry wolf sometimes, the silly girls! May just be habit, today may not be an egg day, but she knows her routine from a few days straight of egg laying.
