Cool! Was she really as yellow as she looked in those younger pics???!!! That is the yellowest color I've ever seen on a chicken! I think she's a Lakenvelder, too.They lay white eggs and are in a lot of hatcheries white egg layer mixes.
She may be a golden lakenvelder. She is really pretty![]()
A golden lakenvelder can also be known as a Vorwerk.if she has a single comb shes a golden lakenvelder, lucky you! She will get white ear lobes and they are a flightly breed. They do lay a white egg

Lakenvelder chickens are beautiful and are very good layers! Maybe by extra handling as chicks you'll have calm hens.
The chick I had was very calm and it did not take long for her to trust me. I love their buff color, but I brought her back due to the white egg color.
I like brown, chocolate, green, blue, and tan eggs.Last years eggs. I added a few more hen's this year.![]()
