We're looking for an internet provider for the house we want in Alabama.
Apparently we can't have Comcast anymore, so we need to know where to look.

Any suggestions?

Where at in rural Alabama? AT&T wireless works pretty well. And if you are in a town that has cabel, then they will have cable. CenturyLink has DSL or wireless.

Verizon wireless here......my hot spot you can have up to 5 on at a time.

Clanton.
We put the address in on the website, and it told us it wasn't available in the area. I think we're going to call the 1-800 number and talk to someone. I've been told that the website isn't always right.

Is CenturyLink reliable?

We know that we can have HughesNet, but we're NOT doing business with them.

smart move.. we FINALLY got out of our contract with HughesNet and swore we would never make that mistake again!

we have Verizon now and love it.. was so glad when they provided service to us out here in cow country!
