What is a chicken block?

Ive seen many people talk about a Chicken Block? What is it exactly and can I make my own? I know its some sort of treat.........

It could signify, a Block of Quilt, or a solidify'd Block of Treates for the chiCkens to peckk att.

They sell them at TSC. Corn, barley, wheat, soybean held together with molasses. 14 chickens.Didnt last a month.25lb blocks. Keeps them busy sort of. Suppose to be for free range chickens.

Ok cool. I am going to look up a recipe and maybe make some into smaller blocks... Sounds like something they would like

I plan to play around with this recipe and give it a try. (Normally I buy blocks.)

I'm going to add flax seed instead of Omega Ultra Egg. I can get it by the pound cheap at my local nutrition store. I probably won't add some other things like marigold.

I think it sounds like a fun little project to make them.
