I did have that thought about the boys coming in to check out the gals, so I think I am just gonna order ladies for now. One of each kind of Polish( Buff, Splash, Black, Blue and Golden), 2 BO, 2 Americanas, 2 Cinnamon Queen, 2 California White and 2 Speckled Sussex. What ya think? Compatable and colorful?
Raising chickens in the Ozarks has proven a whole different game than it was in Iowa! Trees mean more predators! This will be my second try at establishing a flock here. First time the varmint ate all but the two roos. This time, no free range. It works for the ducks, they fight back. But chickens are just too easy to catch.
