I don't mind...I'm not going for show birds...I just like getting eggs, and they have some neat little chicks...pics coming soon

Just call them kwynn's chickens!!! After all I believe EE's are just mixed chickens that lay colored eggs. Those EE Babies of mine are so loving and beautiful. Mix your chickens and you'll have rainbow surprises, both in chickens and eggs!! Plus your flock will be all 'you'.

Yes, that's what I meant by undocumented. Some people object to the word mutt.

Y'know, I was just looking through my chicken book, and just came up with that too... BB Red OEG. Only the comb/wattles look different, so maybe a mix. He certainly has the strut for it, but without so much flair in the tail, too. He's quite the looker in real life, too.

(I'm doing my best to fully immerse Kwynn in chickens...

I spend more time in the coop than in front of the computer now...and I'm always at the computer.

Ok, I have lots of names, is there links to go to for pics? I saw someone elses avatar, and theirs (again) looked similar to mine, but some colors were wrong. I do think he's mixed...or undetermined

Since he seems to look like some, but not really. Now I guess the game is to guess what he is mixed with...Who wants to play??

My very limited experience leads me to believe Old English Game Birds, all of them.--Not bantam--the bantam version of these birds are VERY small. I have some similar, and mine are not the same size as my standard hens, but they are not bantams. Try google images.

You can't just look at colour to identify a breed. Body type is what determines a breed, colour determines a variety.
These birds are not built anything like OEGB-much too long in the back.
They may be game crosses of some sort but certainly not pure OEGB.
Also the Male's colour is wrong for a BB Red-his hackle & saddle are too light-more like a Wheaten
