What is going on with my chicken's head?!

My favorite chicken, black Kevin, seems to always be in a perpetual state of molting but this is something new. Over the past two days she has gone from a tiny spot on her head to being red and bald. It looks really uncomfortable to me but doesn't seem to bother her at all. Any thoughts? She is a Polish Crested Hen and is about 18 months old.

She is being plucked by someone in her flock. Put some Nustock cream or BluKote on it so that the others will not peck it. This should be continued for a month to let new feathers come in or they will probably get pecked out as they come in. Crested birds have this problem frequently.

Thank you! I have two Polish Crested and she seems to be the only chicken that ever gets picked on.
