What is happening to my chicken?

Just one gel cap popped into her beak, then massaged down into the crop.

I have a novogen that’s doing the same thing. She is eating, drinking , pooping and laying. I do massage her crop once in a while and it seems to work

Update: I checked her crop this morning and it went from the size of a baseball to the size of a small golf ball overnight. I will need to see what happens in the next few days but she seems a lot better. As I mentioned I gave her olive oil and massaged her crop so I guess that worked. I didn't find any nasty poop yet but the crop mass must have gone somewhere.

That’s good to hear. I gave my Novogen a piece of bread with olive oil all over it and her crop went down a lot and today she’s not doing the head thing.

Well, Shes doing the head movement again. Her crop is full but so are the other chickens because they are eating. As I mentioned, her crop went way down but now shes doing the impacted crop dance again. Maybe It's just some bad habit? Shes quite fat still so I don't think Its affecting her nutrition.

Like I said. Mine is laying, drinking, eating and pooping . I’m just going to leave her alone
