I have a ringneck pheasant in my room. He’s lived in here for almost 2 years. For the past seven months I’ve had a chicken living indoors as well because she became limp. After a few months he moved into her bin, and he goes back-and-forth from his to hers. Last week I noticed one of his eyelids taking on a white color, but I could see nothing out of the norm besides that. I look at him today and he has this big growth on the top of one eyelid, and then his forehead looks lumpy and swollen. I circled the lump on a picture below. Does only one know what this is and how to fix it?

To me, it appears to be avian pox! Avian or Fowl pox takes on many different forms in many different birds....but could be subcutaneous mites also, Laminosioptes cysticola? .....diagnosed by white to yellowish clacareous growths, a dissecting microscope will be needed to see the mites.
Mosquitoes are the most likely source of transmission of Avian pox, especially if it is appearant in an ocular or facial infection.

This is one reason gamebirds and chickens should not be raised together.
Not much can be done, as far as treatment is concerned.

Disclamer: I am not a veterinarian, for an accurate diagnosis a vet visit should be considered.

Is the material on the eye crusty?
Do you see any lice or mites on the birds?

I don't know much about Pheasants, so hopefully those that are knowledgeable can chime in. @007Sean @Midnightman14

He won’t let me touch him especially not his head but from the looks of it, it looks like his top eyelid skin is peeling off. I have showgirl silkies i raised last spring one had a horrible skin condition that sealed it’s eyes shut and caused the skin to peel off (link here to old post https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/help-baby-chick-with-swollen-eyelids.1583664/#post-26906785) I don’t know if this is related because my pheasant was in my room while I was raising them but they are almost a year old now and that chick was “special” from day one?
