What is happening with my chickens?

People may think they're being clever by stating their location as some non-existent fanciful place, but they're cheating themselves. Location can give us a real head start on solving a problem. Cutting short the time with this information enables us to arrive at a solution quickly and it can save a chicken's life.

I have had two chickens die recently, and I am not sure what it was. I can't remember the problem with the first one (I think it was the fireworks on New Years), but the most recent one had a weird fluid coming out of her and a very poopy bottom. Could it be coccidiosis? It is winter here so not sure. Does it hurt to treat even if it isnt that? Thanks for the help!
I'm sorry that your chickens died.
Without testing and necropsy, it would be hard to know what happened.

Age of the birds, if they laid eggs, had any issues with mites/lice, crop problems, etc. etc. may be helpful.
It's not uncommon for fluids to come of out of the body upon death, so that still doesn't give much information.
IF there was fluid coming out of the beak before she died, then a crop problem would be a place to start, all though that's usually a "symptom" in and of itself. Likely there was an underlying condition causing the crop to not empty.

If you lose another, then refrigerating the body and sending it to your state lab would give you the best answers. https://www.metzerfarms.com/poultry-labs.html

They were 5-6 months I think. They have never laid eggs. They had no mites/lice. No crop problems.

The fluid was coming out of her cloaca.
