What is he? Will he be staying?

Does your husband know Tom is visiting and you share your morning bagel with him?

He's SOOO pretty. Looks like he may be an escapee because he looks as if someone was previously taking care of him. Very nice bird! Ya gonna keep him?

My husband knew if he came in here he'd get fed! Actually Tom has left the premises. I left the slider open and went into the garage to get some grain. When I returned, he was on a self guided tour of the Warden's Quarter's!

I wish my camera had been handy as he checked out my oven but I was downloading pics on my computer. So we had a de-briefing during which I explained the difference between the Warden's Quarters and General Population. Then I shooed him out of my kitchen. When I was done downloading I went back and couldn't find him. I suspect he'll be back.

I would have loved to see him in your house! I guess he figured if you weren't going to feed him anything else, he'd just help himself!

I bet he'll be back in the morning for his bagel and maybe some coffee.

If he'd pooped in my kitchen he would have been inside the oven looking out, inside of outside looking in!

He deffinately looks like a Rio. Like Guru said he has a much reddish coloration. Merriams also have more white tips on lower-back feathers.
